Appearance;
Iris is a short girl with a somewhat bob hairstyle with a purple hairband in it's place. She also wears glasses and is mostly seen carrying around a book with her. She wears a light purple jacket along with a purple sweater and a black skirt. She seems to wear white stocking and long black boots that match with her skirt. She mostly is noted with a very downer expression.

Personality;
Iris is one you can tell is pretty self aware of most things, being practical about most situations at hand and of course try to think of better solutions without getting harm. She can come off as snarky and really rude at first but if ignoring this part she can be seen as friendly. As being one of the 8 humans to have fallen into the underground; she is very diligent and of course tries to be careful about her surroundings and the feeling of others or even certain monsters but she also seen as someone that is noted to being a very hard worker and would do anything to reach her goal. She's very intelligent and someone that can be able to say the answers of questions really quick. She can pick up on information before then or uses it in a way to protect herself.

Another bit about her is that she can be seen as someone with a great amount of 'Perseverance' and would do anything to reach that goal which of course being very strict on herself even believes that everyone has very high expectations of her which does cause her stress and one that tends to worry about it way too much. If she doesn't know the answer of a question or can't answer it then she does tend to be very hard on herself and will think of herself as a failure more often then not which does cause her to be down on herself.

She dislikes the idea of failure or losing; she tends to become a sore loser which makes her keep distant from those that don't want to see that part about her which makes her someone that really isn't good at making friends that easily. Thought she can come off as sensitive of others feelings and will try to be gentle with them if they are hurt themselves, even if she tries to push away her emotions and help it does slip sometimes; she could also be consider like a 'wallflower' when it comes to making friends or tending to events which she can attend them or is usually by herself if anything but she can be nice if approach. However with the lonely life she has, she tends to get pretty clingy or possessive of items or even individuals that see her as a 'friend' which she starts to show a pretty envious side to her if that friend is being taken away.

In Battle;
Like most of the 8 humans; Iris does have a different ways of battling and different commands then others. She will mostly go on lines to avoid attacks. (Think Muffet's battle if you will and you get a idea.) Her commands also differ from Frisk as well.

Take Notes; Instead of the 'fight' command - Iris will take notes of the enemy she is facing to figure any weak spots that can be found. This doesn't harm the monsters at all.
Act; 'Check' - if she does 'take notes' before using this, it will have more information about the enemy in question. Based on the enemy in question; the commands will differ.
Items; self-explanatory.
Mercy; She'll probably use this quite a bit if anything.

Additional information;
Invulnerability; A stat that Iris has which could be extremely helpful is her ability to last longer in battle which her equipment; the notebook and glasses can raise this stat further.
Karmic Retribution; When using her words there could be a possible 'poison' effect which the text will show a purple colour.
Traps
Problem Solving; This could relate to her having some fondness for puzzles and brain working.
Analysis
Magic Iris appears to be hinted at that she could have magic but her magic is seen as incredibly unstable at the age she is now.

Trivia;
- The Name 'Iris Wallis' is a reference to plants; Iris which could reference the flower which is ironically purple and 'Wallis' is a slight pun of her being a 'Wallflower' on the surface world.
- Iris's pet cat is name 'Cali'.
- Iris could possibly have 'Hyperopia' or farsightedness which she can't see things that are too close to her without her glasses, it is slowly starting to get better but it's mostly slight blurs.
- Iris was the first pacifist human that Sans did meet.
- Iris was also the only one to complete the puzzles in the ruins on her own.
- Iris is the only one that fell into the underground by accident.
- Her IQ is 143.
- Iris's birthday, December 31st; being the last day of the year could relate to how purple is the last colour of the rainbow. (much credit to Emilytheespeon for the idea.)
- Iris actually has a backpack that carries more then 1 book and pair of glasses, she may have drop it somewhere which Gerson soon found. [Source]
